C and I had the pleasure of attending a wedding last month in a village in the NE of Thailand. The groom, Ben, is from Grand Forks. His mother Sandy and her husband Art are good friends of my parents and I love them both (despite Art’s attachment the the Edmonton Oilers), so although I didn’t know Ben very well, I knew it would be a good time. His now-wife (spoiler alert: no one pulled a runaway bride), Tuk, is as lovely as can be as well. I self-appointed photographer duties, and had so much fun doing it. Cole was a hit with his language skills, and it was an all-around fantastic experience.

In a strange coincidence, the last time I saw Ben before the wedding was 7 years earlier in Cambodia. He was headed back to Thailand to travel with a girl he’d met- Tuk.

Below are some photos of the beautiful couple, with more images of the day to come.

I’m still alive!

Busy couple of weeks. TP and I are chilling in Chiang Mai for a month or so, set up in a cute apartment in a fun area. Hurrah for cooking for ourselves and international restaurants!

More soon.
